==Limited Time Quests==
Limited Time Quests are quests that are available for a limited time and then they disappear. They're also called Season Quests by the game. A Limited Time Quests is freely accessible if it exists standalone, however if LQ is a trigger of Limited-Time EQ's, Battle Triggers may be required. They tend to give large amount Seasonal Points at the conclusion, along with unique drops, like {{NGSItem|Icon=NGS Ability Capsule|RealName=C/Ability III-IV|PageName=List_of_Special_Abilities_(NGS)#Basic_Abilities}} or {{NGSItem|Icon=NGS Pass|RealName=Seasonal Special Scratch Tickets|PageName=Other_Items_(NGS)}}.

Futhermore, there might be unique quests that can only be activated via Trigger Quest menu. They're part of a new type, '''Rematch type.''' Those Trigger Quests are remixed versions of the previous emergency quests, typically featuring new attacks, harsher time limits, lower player count and other nasty suprises, with better drops as a reward for taking them on.

== Duel Quests ==
 +
{{Icons|NGS Quest}}Duel Quests are solo-only quests, where it's a 1v1 battle against a boss under a world map setting under a short time limit, with boss having title Relentless that gives them jacked up stats
 +

 +
'''Duel Quests are extremely difficult- they're borderline impossible to beat unless you're playing perfectly or use {{NGSItem|Icon=NGS Ability|RealName=Defi-type|PageName=List_of_Special_Abilities_(NGS)#Decold}}''' '''Special Abilities to temporarily boost your stats and get extra DMG and other benefits.'''
 +

 +
{{NGSItem|Icon=NGS Ability|RealName=Defi-type|PageName=List_of_Special_Abilities_(NGS)#Decold}} affixes can be applied onto both weapon and armor to grant extra damage along with a secondary stat. Unlike most same-type abilities, they're not part of the same category, so they can all be planted onto a single weapon/unit without an issue. However, they have a limitation-they're only gonna work if you use a Main Class weapon. Using a Subclass weapon will '''not''' trigger the affixes and therefore, extra damage and you'll be effectively running without an affix.
 +

 +
You're ranked essentially purely on time. You need 2 min 30 sec for S rank, 4 min for A rank, anything below is B Rank. C Rank is impossible to be obtained in this quest.
 +

 +
Duel Quests are unique in that they do not force-play music unlike most quests. This means you can use any music you want from Mag Jukebox.
 +

 +
Depending on your clock, you will obtain the appropriate amount of {{NGSItem|Icon=NGS Ability Capsule|RealName=C/Fomid Fugia|PageName=List_of_Special_Abilities_(NGS)}}. You get 3 for clearing at S, 2 for A and 1 for B. Along with they you will get {{NGSItem|Icon=NGS Ability Capsule|RealName=C/Boss Soul II-IV|PageName=List_of_Special_Abilities_(NGS)#Souls}}, 1 per boss that appears in this region (e.g. Aelio will give you Daedal, Pedas and Nex souls), and rarely you may also get {{NGSItem|Icon=NGS Ability Capsule|RealName=C/Ability IV|PageName=List_of_Special_Abilities_(NGS)}}.
 +

 +
There are multiple phases of Duel Quests. Currently, only Phase 1 is available, where you fight region bosses of Halpha. Each of them gets +400% Attack Power,+40% larger Down Gauge along with unique buffs listed in the quest info.

Quest Counter in NGS is a place where you can start quests that are not available from the World Map. You can also replay the story from there. Quest Counter exists in every ARKS Base with the same options. Quests that are started from the Quest Counter will put you back in front of it after they're conclusion.

There are 5 options in a Quest Counter: Limited Time Quests, Trigger Quests,Duel Quests, ARKS History: Main Story and ARKS History: Other.

Limited Time Quests

NGS Seasonal QuestLimited Time Quests are quests that are available for a limited time and then they disappear. They're also called Season Quests by the game. A Limited Time Quests is freely accessible if it exists standalone, however if LQ is a trigger of Limited-Time EQ's, Battle Triggers may be required. They tend to give large amount Seasonal Points at the conclusion, along with unique drops, like Ability Capsule (NGS) C/Ability III-IV or Pass (NGS) Seasonal Special Scratch Tickets.

Historically, before the Quest Counter's existence, Limited Time Quests occurred inside Battledia:Variable. However, due to them being basically precursors of LQ's and have almost no similarities to Battledia Quests, they're gonna be referred here.

Limited Time Quest might follow a format of one of the quest that already exists, tweaking it slightly if necessary. However there are also unique types of missions appearing in Limited Quests:

  • Quest Point type: In this quest, your job is to kill enemies to collect as many quest points as possible within the time limit. This quest of a competition type- extra seasonal points are awarded to people who score higher then the people who do less. Points from mobs only count towards whomever did the fatal blow, meanwhile points from bosses are proportionally spread based on damage dealt. Enemies tend to spawn as Rares or Equalizers, further increasing their value. Bosses are always Golden. There are also bonus points, awarded to people who do specific criteria the most amount of times. The winner is the player who gets the most points by the end of the quest, however everyone shares the drop pool anyway. This quest otherwise does not rank you like others- no rank will be given after the quest is done.
  • Mini-Defense type: In this quest format, you are put in a large arena and forced to complete a high-wave amount Transport Truck Defense trial. Failing the trial is grounds for instantaneous quest failure. During this quest type, all bosses are Megalotix, and final boss that spawns is a Battlefield Overseer type seen in Minor EQ's, with all of the mechanics related to them active. You are ranked in the same fashion as in Major/Minor EQ's.

Occasionally during Limited Time Quests, bosses might get unique seasonal titles that change their attack patterns and buff them in significant ways.

Trigger Quests

Trigger Quests are quests that require a Battle or Quest trigger to be started. This features both Battledia Quests and special Simulation-type Trigger Quests.

Battledia Quests

Main article: Battledia

Battledia Quests can also be started from the quest counter. They do not differ at all from their counterpart, other then putting you back at the quest counter instead at the trigger portal. Listing here is purely for archival purposes. Refer to the main article for more details.

Simulation Emergency Quests

All Emergency quests feature listing for Simulation-type Emergency Quests. They require Tool (NGS) Q.Trigger/Quest Name ×5, obtainable from Team Badge Exchange. They are used only upon clear. The rules regarding use and storage are the same as Battledia quest, meaning you got to keep them in Inventory/Material Storage and they are used only upon successful clear. The quests while being exactly the same in gameplay value as Emergency Quests on world map, there are a few minor differences to be aware of:

  • The Day/Night time is forced, most of the time, you will face off enemies in daytime conditions.
  • First Clear rewards can be obtained once more, despite clearing their regular Emergency Quest equivilents, and vice versa.

Futhermore, there might be unique quests that can only be activated via Trigger Quest menu. They're part of a new type, Rematch type. Those Trigger Quests are remixed versions of the previous emergency quests, typically featuring new attacks, harsher time limits, lower player count and other nasty suprises, with better drops as a reward for taking them on.

Duel Quests

NGS QuestDuel Quests are solo-only quests, where it's a 1v1 battle against a boss under a world map setting under a short time limit, with boss having title Relentless that gives them jacked up stats

Duel Quests are extremely difficult- they're borderline impossible to beat unless you're playing perfectly or use Ability (NGS) Defi-type Special Abilities to temporarily boost your stats and get extra DMG and other benefits.

Ability (NGS) Defi-type affixes can be applied onto both weapon and armor to grant extra damage along with a secondary stat. Unlike most same-type abilities, they're not part of the same category, so they can all be planted onto a single weapon/unit without an issue. However, they have a limitation-they're only gonna work if you use a Main Class weapon. Using a Subclass weapon will not trigger the affixes and therefore, extra damage and you'll be effectively running without an affix.

You're ranked essentially purely on time. You need 2 min 30 sec for S rank, 4 min for A rank, anything below is B Rank. C Rank is impossible to be obtained in this quest.

Duel Quests are unique in that they do not force-play music unlike most quests. This means you can use any music you want from Mag Jukebox.

Depending on your clock, you will obtain the appropriate amount of Ability Capsule (NGS) C/Fomid Fugia. You get 3 for clearing at S, 2 for A and 1 for B. Along with they you will get Ability Capsule (NGS) C/Boss Soul II-IV, 1 per boss that appears in this region (e.g. Aelio will give you Daedal, Pedas and Nex souls), and rarely you may also get Ability Capsule (NGS) C/Ability IV.

There are multiple phases of Duel Quests. Currently, only Phase 1 is available, where you fight region bosses of Halpha. Each of them gets +400% Attack Power,+40% larger Down Gauge along with unique buffs listed in the quest info.

In this page, you can play through the cutscenes, Story Quests and Story Side-Quests once more, if you feel like it. Please note that you cannot regain any rewards and upon the quest conclusion, you will return to the quest counter.

You will not change the region while playing through those quests. During gameplay, the Task Window will change into the story-task with the main story indicator. Completing it to the full does not give any rewards.
