Regional Mags are landmarks found in the fields of Halpha, represented on the World Map with a Regional Mag icon (Region Mag). Each region has its own Regional Mags that you need to find first before it appears on your World Map. There are always 3 Regional Mags in any given region, inside Exploration Sections. Regional Mag looks can change depending on the currently active campaigns and limited-time events.

Regional Mags are also quick travel spots you can teleport to from World Map, just like Ryuker Devices.

Regional Mag Boosts

By giving Gathering materials to a Regional Mag, you can improve the boosts that Regional Mag gives to all players in the current region, as well as level up your own personal boosts. Each Regional Mag boost applies only to it's own region and has to be refreshed in another region if you want to keep them active there

Social Mag Boost

Each Regional Mag has its own unique Social Mag Boost and ship-wide points meter that fills up when players give Gathering materials. Social Mag Boosts are determined by the name of the mag. The effects depending on the name are as follows:

  • The Prospeous Regional Mag = +10% Rare Drop Rate
  • The Invincible Regional Mag = +5% Attack Power
  • The Skillful Regional Mag = +10% Experience Gained

Exclusive to Kvaris region, all Regional Mags also have added (Cold-Resistant) to their names, which on top of the aforementioned buffs grants +10% Cold Damage Resistance.

In addition, during events where Seasonal Enemies spawn, a Seasonal boost is added which gives +15% Seasonal Enemy Spawn rate for all sections.

The Social Mag Boost lasts for 24 hours, excluding server maintaince time. When activated, a region-wide message will be sent informing of the Boost being activated. When not active, Regional Mags will have a sleeping icon on the World Map. When active, they will jump around making large noises, making locating them easier.

Personal Mag Boost

Each Regional Mag also has a Personal Mag Boost, which give buffs exclusive to each player personally. Personal Mag Boost type is shared amongst all Regional Mags. By feeding Gathering materials, you can achieve buffs at diffirent levels:

  • Level 1 requires 100 points and grants +3% Rare Drop Rate
  • Level 2 requires 200 points and grants +9% Rare Drop Rate
  • Level 3 requires 400 points and grants +20% Rare Drop Rate

Personal Mag Boost lasts for 2 hours when activated. After achieving level 3 Boost, you can refresh the boost back to 2 hours by feeding extra 200 points.

Regional Mag Points

Every material item has a points value that a Regional Mag applies to itself. Futhermore, there can be various bonuses related to points.

All bonuses are apply multiplicatively to each other, meaning the formula is: Base Value x All Bonuses

Base Value

Here are all base values of items you can put into a Regional Mag:

  • Meat (NGS) Meats = 10 points
  • Vegetable (NGS) Vegetables,Seafood (NGS) Seafood,Fruit (NGS) Fruit, Mineral (NGS) Monotite= 20 points
  • Mineral (NGS) Dualomite,Mineral (NGS) Photon Chunk = 30 points
  • Mineral (NGS) Reminder of permament Ores = 36 points
  • Mineral (NGS) Rare Seasonal Ores = 40 points

Bonus Types

Here are all of the potential bonuses that can apply to an item when feeded into a Regional Mag.

Wishlist Bonus

Each Regional Mag, separatly from one another, generates on 4:00 JST 2 wishlist items that operate similarly but have diffirent boost amount:

  • A Specific Item boost, generated in the green slot from all of the items that appear in that region, excluding Ores, giving out +200% extra points.
  • A Category Item boost, generated in the yellow slot, for an entire category of items, giving out +50% extra points. Even items not generated in the region will count. Ores are, once again, excluded.

Those items will be colored respectively and move up to the top of your inventory, green item first, then all yellow items.

During Limited Time Events, if the event generates a seasonal Material (NGS) Material item, that item will always be a Specific Item Boost for the event duration.

Empty Stomach Bonus

Empty Stomach Bonus occurs when the Social Mag Boost is offline to incentivise putting items inside inactive Regional Mags. The boost goes up over time, starting at +50% when mag just recently became inactive to +300% if the mag was inactive for about 24 hours. Should the Social Mag boost activate, the Empty Stomach Bonus resets to 0.
