New Genesis: Tasks
Tasks are a feature that have been added to NGS that combines the ARKS Missions and Client Orders of PSO2 into one format. They come in the form of "Main", "Side", "Daily", "Weekly", and "Limited Time" tasks, and upon completion give rewards such as N-Meseta, Experience and items.
Your currently tracked Task and all of its objectives are tracked on the left side of the UI below the minimap, and show progress bars that allow you to track completion. In the game world and World Map, a orange Task icon (
) will point towards objectives for Main Tasks. A white icon is used for Side Tasks.
Main
New Genesis features Main Tasks which takes you through the game's story, as well as unlocks new areas and features.
Side

Side Tasks are Tasks that are requested by NPCs found within the cities of Halpha. While most Side Tasks are optional, they do provide rewards such as N-Meseta, EXP and items.

Liu Mei
Liu Mei is a ARKS Training Instructor that can be found in cities that hands out daily Side Tasks. There is no time limit for these Tasks, and once a Task is completed, it can be accepted again at 04:00 JST. They are also not account-based, allowing for all characters on your account to complete them.

Ronaldine
Ronaldine is a ARKS Senior Training Instructor that can be found in cities that hands out the "Successive Training" series of Tasks for limited periods of time.
Daily
Each day at 04:00 JST, five Daily Tasks are picked from the tables below. All Daily Tasks are account-based and can only be done on one character per day.
The first two tasks are "Use the Food Stand" & "Use the Regional Mag" Tasks, which are always received. The third task is a "procurement" Task, where a single Exploration Section is chosen from the Region, and a specific type of gathering material (Tames Meat, Ore, Seafood, Fruit or Vegtable) is chosen. The fourth is a "Enemy Subjugation" Task, where a single Combat Section is chosen from the Region. The fifth is a "Complete Daily Tasks" task.
Depending on your progress throughout the game, the provided Daily tasks will change.
Aelio
Exploration Sections include Central Aelio, Southern Aelio, Western Aelio and Northern Aelio. Combat Sections include Mt Magnus, Vanford Resarch Lab Ruins and Resol Forest.

Limited-Time
