Walkthrough
This quest is a VS Boss where you fight directly against the boss. However, uniquely to this quest you won't spawn in the arena proper but on a mountain connecting to it. You will have to use Floating Boards from a nearby Board Terminal to slide down the hill. Along the way you will encounter Orange Jump Panels that if jumped off well, can allow you to reach Blast Charge Signs in the air. There are 2 of them, and once you enter the arena you won't be able to get them, so make it count.
As said above, once reached the arena, the way back will close itself off and you will face off against the boss himself.
Bombs and operation of them
During the boss battle, Crocodallus Vera will attack you by throwing planting bombs. It will launch 8 Bombs. You can return them for 2000 PA Power worth of damage, however, if you can score a direct hit at his core inside his mouth, he will flinch and that will accumulate down. Unless network lag happens, bombs hitting during flinch will not count towards accumulation. A bomb not picked up in time will detonate and deal 300 PA Power worth of damage, so be careful!
If you can score 6 direct hits, he will be special downed and drop 6 Frozen Bullet Fragments nearby that you can use to damage it in similar fashion. If you can accumulate 3 direct hits at his core, you will freeze it and once he tries to get up, will fail and will be downed once more. There is a bit of a time limit to it, so you got to work fast.
