Braver is a returning class in Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis that has proficiency in both close range and long ranged combat. While the moves are simple, they have hidden depth to them.

Class Weapon Overview

Katana

Katana is a melee weapon that can attack with agile movements. With their innate ability "Katana PA Combo", Katana Photon Arts grow stronger and have different stages based on the number of times they have been used repeatedly in succession. Katanas also feature a guard Weapon Action that unleashes a counterattack when a parry with it against an attack is successful.

Bullet Bow

The Bullet Bow is a ranged weapon that can deal stable damage from a long distance, and has Photon Arts that change drastically depending on if they were held down and charged or not. Bullet Bows feature Normal Attacks that can be performed while moving and even while charging Photon Arts.

Skills

Brave Combat

PP consumption decreases for a certain period of time, and PP recovery amount at the time of attack increases.
Use it again while the skill is active to perform a powerful finisher. Active Skill/Braver Weapons only.

The duration of Brave Combat is shortened, however in return the cooldown time is also shortened.

Increases the amount of HP recovered when using Restasigns.

A shockwave is added to the counterattack when a Just Guard via Weapon Action is performed. Katana only.

Fearless Attitude

Bullet Bow Elude Expand

After a Photon Art is used, inputting the Weapon Action button with directional input
will result in a slide attack variant instead. Bullet Bow only.
