In New Genesis, the weather can change overtime. What weather occurs depends on the region.
Certain enemies such as Alters can be enhanced by certain weather conditions.
Aerio's weather includes clear and cloudy skies, rain, and thunderstorms. During a thunderstorm, Gigantix enemies can appear.
A Thunderstorm will reoccur every 130 Minutes.
