Ranger is a returning class in Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis.

New Mechanic: Sliding Shot

• An exclusive weapon action to the Assault Rifle that performs an evasive slide to the side while shooting at the same time.

New Mechanic: Distance(?) Snipe

By staying a certain distance away from the target, Rifle attacks gain additional damage. A shine effect is added to bullet impacts when this is active.
