Item Drop Specifics

This page is meant to go into detail about how the drop mechanics work. If not, just link to other pages, depending on how long the proper explanations get (which I feel will be what will happen).

Summary

Maybe some day for a proper one. For now, very rough summary. Look at other resources for more specifics at this time, or the page links when/if they come up.

  • 1-3* weapons and discs drop, generally speaking, everywhere. What you get is based on your main class.
  • 7* rarity and higher tend to have a certain monster (sometimes more than one monster) able to drop it. This is regardless of your main class, but is somewhat skewed toward your main class's stuff when it comes to weapons. Read more about that in the Red/Boss Crystal section.
  • Even for "common drops", certain monsters do actually drop some things more/ only compared to others. If you aren't finding what you want, try a different area (but do make sure you are the proper main class as well).
    • Container drops are based on area, not class. Some area breakables, such as Wulffs and their rare variant Red Wulffs, drop similar things to a container.
