- This weapon always drops with its Overgrind Cap set at 35 and Attribute set to 60.
- This weapon's Potentials have the following effects:
- This weapon starts in its "sealed" form. When a Just Guard is successfully performed, the seal breaks and unveils its "unsealed" form. When Sword Gear is depleted, this weapon reverts back to its sealed form. Both forms of Akatsuki have different effects.
- "Fu" (Sealed):
- Player's HP regenerates over time.
- Sword Gear accumulates automatically as long as the weapon is unsheathed.
- Knockback taken is reduced.
- "In" (Unsealed):
- Damage inflicted is increased.
- PP consumption is decreased.
- When struck, gives a 10% chance to reduce the damage taken.
- "Fu" (Sealed):
- This weapon starts in its "sealed" form. When a Just Guard is successfully performed, the seal breaks and unveils its "unsealed" form. When Sword Gear is depleted, this weapon reverts back to its sealed form. Both forms of Akatsuki have different effects.
- Interaction with Hero:
- The Gear accumulation effect of this weapon's Potential is ineffective.
- This weapon cannot be unsealed by the effects of Brightness End or Combo Aura Short Charge.
- This weapon is a combination of the Akatsuki Fu and Akatsuki In, both Swords that originally appeared in Phantasy Star Zero. Furthermore, it is considered a counterpart of the Yonohate, which is wielded in-story by Regius of the Council of Six and also debuted in Phantasy Star Zero.
