Currently, the entire game of PSO2 is set in EPISODE 6's time frame. With Story Quests, you can play past episodes, and even switch to another episode while you're in the middle of one. If you advance the plot of EPISODE 5 enough, EPISODES 1-3 will gain additional scenes in which characters from EPISODE 5 reflect on past events.
