About Quick Search
Quick Search is a connectivity function in Phantasy Star Online 2es that allows users to instantly gain items based on certain Quests from Phantasy Star Online 2. Players get one free attempt daily that resets at 5AM JST, and can attempt up to an additional five times per day for 100 AC per attempt, with an increasing amount of rewards and Rare Drop Rate for each consecutive attempt.
Quick Search types are divided into four categories: Material Search, Free Exploration, Corrupted Area Search, and Special Search.
- Material Search awards assorted Gathering Materials from the designated area. Material Searches produce more rewards than other types of Searches.
- Free Exploration is a Quick Search exclusively for Kuron Exploration, and awards equipment and materials from the Free Field.
- Corrupted Area Search awards equipment and Crystals from Ultimate Quests, as well as miscellaneous materials.
- Special Search awards items that appear in certain Emergency Quests from PSO2. In addition to equipment, items obtained from Special Searches can include materials, Crests, and Add Ability items for S-Class Special Abilities. Some Special Searches also feature S-Class Special Abilities on Val series weapons depending on the source Quest.
While equipment gained from Quick Search is based on its respective content in the main game, Quick Search equipment will always drop with Soul Receptor and Gift Receptor affixed regardless of the possible Abilities from the source Quest.
After performing 15 Quick Searches, Bonus Search is unlocked. This allows you to select a single Quick Search and perform five additional Quick Searches at no cost, gaining the same benefits as using five AC Quick Searches in a row. After Bonus Search is used, the counter resets to 15.
