Class Weapon Overview

Lusters use the Gunslash Gunslash weapon class. For Photon Art descriptions, please see Luster Photon Arts.

Gunslash

A hybrid handgun/blade weapon that is usable by all Classes. Unlike other Classes, the Luster is capable of pushing the Gunslash to the absolute limits of its power, transforming it into a weapon that combines speed, finesse, and raw strength into one. Luster's Gunslash is capable of balancing two types of Photon Arts, the Move Arts and Stay Arts, to control the battlefield, and based on the Element of their weapon, is capable of accessing Styles that augment their playstyle and attributes to fit any situation. Beginner Lusters can also access the unique Smart PA feature to streamline combat, promoting ease of access and versatility.

Styles

  • Fomel Style: An offense-oriented style that appears with the powers of Fire or Dark Gunslashes. Fomel Style features an aggressive approach to combat by augmenting both Move Arts and Stay Arts simultaneously, giving its users an enormous berth of options unlike other styles. Consuming Luster Gunslash Gear summons units to its user's side that fly toward enemies during PAs and inflict Jellen on impact. Its Evade Shoot special ability consumes Gear to assault foes with a flurry of stabs before rushing forward, dealing massive damage to enemies in their path.
  • Zandi Style: A mobility-oriented style that appears with the powers of Wind or Lightning Gunslashes. Zandi Style prioritizes speed and flexibility by greatly augmenting the effects of Move Arts, allowing its users to stay in motion no matter the situation and give their foes the run-around without compromising power. By using Luster Gunslash Gear, the user can also summon a vacuum that pulls enemies to its center and stuns them. Its Evade Shoot special ability consumes Gear to strike foes around the user with a bolt of lightning to inflict heavy damage.
  • Baran Style: A defense-oriented style that appears with the powers of Ice or Light Gunslashes. Baran Style maximizes longevity in combat by greatly augmenting the effects of Stay Arts without compromising offensive pressure via enhanced attack range and debilitating properties. Using Luster Gunslash Gear summons an energy field that deals damage to enemies in its path and inflicts Bind. Its Evade Shoot special ability consumes Gear to charge up and fire an immensely powerful gunshot.
  • Style Purge: A special style that appears when the user has a Gunslash with no attribute or uses the Style Purge skill.

Exclusive Class Skills

Name SP Cost Description
Luster GS Gear 1 Gear gauge fills by hitting targets, and also fills automatically over time. Holding Normal Attack or Weapon Action consume Gear stock and performs a powerful attack.
Luster Time 1 Damages the surrounding area with an attack upon activation, and increases PP recovery and reduces damage taken for 30 seconds. Activating the skill again will release a devastating finishing move. Normally has a 240 second cooldown, but if activated with 500 Voltage accumulated, cooldown is reduced to 120 seconds. Main class only.
Luster Voltage 1 Gain Voltage when attacks hit, which increases attack power (up to 10%) and damage reduction (up to 20%) and caps at 500 Voltage. Shifta and Debrand will be applied upon accumulating 100 Voltage. Voltage will be reset after 5 seconds if no targets are hit. HP & PP will be restored depending on the amount of Voltage lost. For reference, 176 Voltage lost equates to 287 HP and 32 PP recovered. This skill is available even when Luster is used as a subclass.
Tech Arts JA Multi Bonus 1 Grants a bonus when you use different PAs continuously in a combo.
Killing Restorate 10 Restores HP and PP when enemies are killed within a certain radius.
Debrand Disorder 10 Grants an effect when attacking while Debrand is active.
Luster Will 1 Grants a one-time survival of a fatal blow. Applies very short invincibility?
High Level Bonus Lu 5 Grants bonus damage (5%?) to all attacks you deal.
Subclass GS Boost 1 Increases Gunslash power (Striking, Ranged and Technique) when Luster is used as a subclass. The power increase multiplier differs based on the main class. Subclass only.
Weapon Resist Rule Out 1 Ignore enemy weapon resistances for certain enemies that have weapon resistances. Main class only.
GS Special Abilty Plus 1 While using a Gunslash, chooses between the highest value between S-ATK and R-ATK affixes, uses it only, and converts it to an R-ATK affix.
Luster Mag 0 Converts your Mag's total attack stat excluding Dex into Striking, Ranged and Technique.

Next Jump 0 Enables a second jump in a row.

Step 0 Enables steps, which allows you to quickly move a short distance.

Enhance Arts V Boost 1 Gain +1 Voltage when Chase Attacks hit.
Fomel JA Advance 1 Gain "massive" (super armor) status by quickly performing JA on a PA.

Stay Arts V boost 1 Enhanced PA range and guard points for Stay Arts. Gain +1 Voltage when Stay Arts hit.
Baran JG Advance 1 Upon a successful guard, reduce damage taken by around 20% for a certain amount of time. Improves safety while in combat.

Enhance Combo 1
Slash Rise 1 Pressing jump in the middle of a combo will activate a special rising swing attack. Hold jump to enhance the special attack further to consume Gear stock and casting Zanverse. If HP is 75% and under, cast Megiverse instead. Main class only.
Slash Fall 1 Activated when pressing jump without holding a directional during a combo in mid-air. Lands quickly to deal area damage that can stun enemies. Similar to Slash Rise, pressing and holding jump will consume Gear stock and cast the aforementioned same techniques under the same conditions.
Luster Step Slide 1 Performing two steps consecutively will trigger a special attack. Directional input will affect the behavior of the special attack, between Left/Right, Forward and Backward.
Step Slide Advance 1
Step Counter 1 Activate a counter attack by performing a Normal Attack upon successfully evading an enemy attack.
Luster Step Guard 1
Extra Attack 1 Changes the fourth Normal Attack into a powerful attack.
Style Purge 1 Activated by pressing Weapon Action in quickly twice in succession. Shoots a powerful explosion, but temporarily lose Style characteristics. In this non-elemental style, a special Enhance Shoot can be performed.
Quick Slash 1 Allows performing a long-ranged rush attack that is activated by performing a Normal Attack at a certain time, such as after a PA.
Quick Shoot 1 Allows performing an immediate Weapon Action Attack after an Extra Attack, or during a certain timing for each style.
