Cocoons and Towers (NGS)

Cocoons are mysterious structures found in the fields of Planet Halpha. Contained within them are enclosed, instanced Cocoon Quests, which allow you to learn various movement and combat techniques, and earn rewards upon completing them.

When interacting with the door to a cocoon, you are shown various details about the Cocoon Quest within which are detailed below. You are also shown party settings that you can use to restrict access to your own party.

On your World Map, Cocoons are represented as pink "barrel-like" icons. Selecting the icon for a Cocoon also allows you to view the details of the Cocoon Quest and if conditions are correct, you can start the Cocoon Quest from the World Map.

Description	This is a cocoon that tests the basic abilities of the ARKS present. Follow the instructions and learn new actions as you reach the target point. (ここは、アークス呈人の基本能力を試すコクーンである。指示に従い、新たなアクションを習得しつつ、目標地点に到達せよ。)

This cocoon tasks you with completing a training course. Using movement techniques and your weapon, you must destroy targets, collect Point Cubes and traverse the terrain with your Photon Dash and Photon Glide.
At the end of the course, you use your Photon Blast to destroy a target. After doing this, the Finish Line is unlocked.

Description	This is a trainer that tests the fighting ability of ARKS. Use your combat techniques to defeat the enhanced "Pedas Sword". (ここは、アークス告人の戦闘能力を試すトレイニアである。戦闘技術を駆使して、強化された“ベダス・ソード”を撃破せよ。)

This Cocoon asks you to defeat a lone Pedas Sword. On the back of its neck is a yellow core that reduces damage taken by the Pedas Sword. Once the core is broken, the shield is removed.

Description	This is a trainer that tests the jumping ability of ARKS. Use "Jump" and "Double Jump" to reach the target point. (ここは、アークス各人の跳躍能力を試すトレイニアである。 “ジャンプ”、“2段ジャンプ”を用いて、目標地点に到達せよ。)

This Cocoon contains a platforming challenge consisting of platforms suspended over a bottomless void. By Photon Dashing, you can extend the reach of your jumps.
