  • This weapon's Potential has the following effects:
    • This weapon starts in its "sealed" form. When a Just Guard is successfully performed, the seal breaks and unveils its "unsealed" form. When Sword Gear is depleted, this weapon reverts back to its sealed form. Both forms of Akatsuki have different effects.
      • "Fu" (Sealed):
        • Player's HP regenerates over time.
        • Sword Gear accumulates automatically as long as the weapon is unsheathed.
        • Knockback taken is reduced.
      • "In" (Unsealed):
        • Damage inflicted is increased.
        • PP consumption is decreased.
        • When struck, gives a 10% chance to reduce the damage taken.
